Fort Meade Recall Record collects the information you provide when requesting access, including your name, email address, optional affiliation, selected purpose, acceptance of the access terms, and request time. Email verification confirms control of the address provided; it does not verify your name or identity.

We record how visitors use the site, including searches and records viewed. Before an access request, activity is not associated with a name or contact information. If you complete email verification, activity from that visit and later sessions is associated with the information you provided.

We use this information to understand use of the site, study public engagement with the recall, prevent misuse, investigate reported harassment, protect the service, and respond to lawful requests. Published research findings use aggregate figures.

If you report an error, we retain the report, any optional contact address, and its review history to investigate and resolve the correction.

We also process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Information is disclosed only to service providers operating the site and email functions, or when required by law.
